Yahoo Search Dead! Bing Begins Integration with Yahoo

Hi Guys,

Saw an interesting article today about Microsoft handling all of Yahoo search results. In a nutshell Yahoo and Bing will return the same results. You can read more here Microsoft Begins Yahoo Search Ad Integration | Reuters

At any rate combined Yahoo and Bing share 30% of the market. So looks like it makes even more sense to at least optimize a little for yahoo and bing.

Yeah I agree, 30% is a lot of market not to optimise for.

I think yahoo search is dead because when searching with Yahoo in the United States or Canada you will see a “powered by Bing” notification at the bottom of the listing and will appear on all web, image and video searches on both desktop and mobile devices.
