had a few hicups but cant see what i've done wrong

My first install of WTG is on a very new general autoblog so hard to match aggregator categories

Ive gone over everything from the install manual but obviously i'm still doing something not quite right but I cant figure what it is

The difficulties I'm experiencing are:
1.that my captcha using aggregators arent pulling from the captcha site, as such they having a pretty poor success rate, no captchas are being used (deathbycaptcha).
2. the email address ive given isn't receiving the logs either part or full logs.
3. my success rate from posting to aggregators isnt great but thats prob because i'm not matching categories that well given the very general nature of my blog?

To be honest my head is fried, ive taken some time out and gone back to it, but still cant get it

hope somebody can point my overly tired brain in the right direction

Did you set it up with a cron job? Is mailing enabled on your server?
