Is posting to multuiple video sharing sites now impossible?

What's happening? Someone enlighten me please!

    • I've just found out that SEnuke has ditched the video module! CANNOT BELIEVE IT!

    • Tubemogul now charges a ridiculous monthly subscription.

    • Pixelpipe (had never heard of it until today and no idea if it's any good) is not open to new users.

    • Just came here to inquire about the one Tim and Anthony have always suggested, VideoBot, but trying to purchase it through their site is impossible.

Does anyone know what has happened to VideoBot, and if it is no longer available, is there an alternative?

    Thanks

    Chris

No, that seems to be the case - video is gone...
That really is not a big deal to me. YouTube MUST be submitted manually and before any other copies of your videos are posted elsewhere. After that there are only 3 or 4 sites that are worthwhile. You can get into PixelPipe if you have a Twitter account - just log-in using Twitter as your account...

Thanks for the PixelPipe tip, Mike,

    I'll give that a go.

When you say, only 3 or 4 are worthwhile, are you referring to worthwhile for traffic
or for backlinks (or both)and which ones in particular do you think are still useful?
Things have changed when it comes to video marketing that's for sure!

As for VideoBot, it is apparently off the market at the moment but coming back 'some time' in the future.

To quote Ralph at Incansoft, "It's offline while we upgrade it - not sure when we'll be finished, but it is coming back "

    Thanks for your help, Mike

    Chris

MetaCafe, Vimeo and DailyMotion are favorites. They rank well in search, and I see traffic coming from them as well.
I have to agree on the <bots> comment. I tried Blogbot and was very disappointed in the outcome - the program ran through its own browser which gave no warnings that the spam sites they submitted to were flagged as malware hosts and spam sites - which was very apparent when looked at them in FireFox. The reason I looked was due to the disappearance of all my page 1 and #1 listings. It took months to recover, and my e-mails to them were completely ignored.

Interesting to know - I'll have to think very carefully about Videobot if and when it does get released.

Surprised about the 'not so good' press you guys are giving the 'bots' considering Tim and Anthony sing their praises on a regular basis.

    Thanks for the tips, Mike

    Capide,
I am a moderator, not an employee or partner. I have agreed not to promote the same products they do in the forum, but I made no agreement to hold anything back.

    Hi guys,

I cannot comment on the info you sent Magnify regarding Mike as I have no knowledge of the situation, but I want to publicly say people are free to voice their opinions (good or bad) about any products provided the information is not libel.

Regarding some of their products I have to agree some are absolute dogs (web2.0 bot for example). I've gone on record to say this product was bad (at least the initial version).

The thing to remember with these types of products is things change all the time, and often its not the "softwares" fault - For example a software product that submits content to a particular website will fail if the website changes the way they process logins - This usually requires a new version.

Thats the reality of automation unfortunately sometimes, stuff breaks.

Many of their products although not perfect are good value for money in our opinion which is why we promote them.

    Cheers

    Tim
