Create an RSS feed with articles posted on Article Directories

How can I create an RSS feed with articles posted on various article directories. The articles do not have an RSS feed but the directory does. However whenever I have tried to create a feed with Feedity or feedburner or other software I've ended up with the article directory again.

If this sounds like gobbly-gook from a newbie, maybe an example of an article might help.

I have had good luck with using icerocket just set up an account and enter the url of the article then it will spit out a rss feed for it.

Hi there

Looks like the RSS Feed on the page gives you ALL entries in that category which is not useful.

If you create a new feed based on the URL and not the feed, I cannot see any reason why it would not work.

I can see when you do it in feedity without logging in it only shows you the first 10 entries which are all links to various resources on their site.

Use the redefine feature and login to see if that helps.

The web traffic genius has a built in rss feed creator which enables you to easily create rss feeds. The issue seems to be that when you create the rss feed, it is trying to "look at" and follow all links on the page. You want to be able to stop it doing that, so it processes only the current page.

html2rss.com and feedage.com both have converters as well for extra juice

I use both Feedage and Feedburner to create new feeds. Which we use depends on what we are trying to accomplish.

It you just want a feed for the article page, either one will do.
