PPC Tracking

Hi Guys,

I'm busy setting up PPC campaigns on Facebook and Youtube and I'd like to track the results so I can determine ROI etc...

What tools can I use to do that? When sending people to a squeeze page do I need a different squeeze page or aweber form to track conversions etc? Can I use Google Analytics?

I looked into Tracking 202 but that's more for affiliate links etc and I'm gonna sell my own product...

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated! :-)

Actually Charl,

tracking 202 would be a good solution for you. It provides an easy (free) way to track commissions by keyword. It has some good stuff for landing page tracking, but even for direct linking.

It all depends on how you decide to track e.g. How are you selling your product? clickbank? paypal ?

Alternatively, it might be easier to just use google conversions tool and put the code on your thank you page. Then link google adwords to google analytics and you get some pretty neat tracking capability.

Oh and you have to give your first born kid to Google as well, because they have total control over your life at this point (ads, tracking, thank you page). I'm kidding about the "first born" thing.

If you really want to track individually I'd setup new campaigns for each, different aweber forms on the squeeze pages, etc.

I would assume your targeting might be different anyway for the demographics, and Google does seem to love customised landing pages.
