    Wordpress and the "Almighty SEO"

Everyone seems to go on about Wordpress and its SEO capabilities.

Now if it is being used as a blog, where you have visitors posting comments, then I can see the benefit in that cause of the ever changing content.

But if you are using it as a static website, in other words providing no facility for visitors to post a comments then what is the difference between WP and say something like Xsite Pro as long as all the on page SEO is done like meta tags image tags etc etc with regards to keywords ( emphasis plural) and keyword phrases?

Thanks, look forward to a response.

You would need to speak with an XSITEpro memeber and ask them for an example of a well ranking site. Wordpress sites get ranked and it is well known which is why all my sites (180) are in wordpress. I tried joombla once and could not get my site past page 7 so it has to do with clear coding and how efficient it is for google to crawl tjhe sites. they obviously like crawling wordpress sites

Hey firstly thank you so much for replying to my thread, appreciate it.

With your wordpress sites do you have a comment box on them or are they just static sites?

Yes and don't forget Josh Bartlett !! re my sites they all have comment boxes but mostly i get idiots commenting trying to build backlinks with stupid comments about unrelated topics . get a few genuine ones which is always a thrill. i use market samurai (from your great land) to grab all the low hanging fruit in the form of long tailed keyword phrases and then build pages around those. i then use article exchanges, blogs, RSS bots etc to build backlinks and lots of youtube videos optimsed/ works for me
    hope that helps
you can try marketsamurai for free here if you are not already using it Keyword Analysis Tool - Market Samurai
