Site de-indexed in Google Australia only

Here's a really weird situation and I'd like someone to try and shed some light on this.....
Our site, which focuses on Ab Workouts, has only recently jumped to page 1 of google after about 3 solid months of heavy SEO/Backlinking work.

And we are really excited for it to be there as the traffic has increased over 400% in the past few days.......but the strange part is the site has been REMOVED from the AUSTRALIAN Google index ONLY. It's in every other google index I searched on - US, Canada, UK, New Zealand, Malaysia, India and even Brazil. I stopped checking at this point.

How do I know it's been de-indexed? I type site:domain.com into the country's google search bar and sure enough, everywhere BUT Australia shows the indexed pages but the Australian one says "No documents found" (or something to that effect.

Anyone (Tim particularly) got any ideas as to WHY just one country would be de-indexed? Surely, if there was something a little 'dubious' I'd done with the site (which there isn't), wouldn't the site be removed from ALL the indexes and not just ONE country?

Interestingly the exact same thing has happened to another much older site of ours (that we haven't been pushing at all since it needs some TLC).

Still, this site too is in every other country's google index (using the site: search operator) except the Australian index.

We must have trodden on someone's toes at google Australia somehow.

I've been over to google australia and did a site: search and it looks like the first site has two results and the second has 21 results. I might try it with a proxy when I get home and see again.
