SocialBot still challenging me

Hi all

I was wondering if anybody has checked how well SocialBot is actually doing in creating bookmarks automatically.

I've got SB. And I really want it to work. But i have no faith that it's doing much of value. I've just done another "run" of a single page, and even though SB is telling me that the submission is "Complete", when I go to check the sites 99% of the time I find that there are no bookmarks made under that username. I'm not talking about a few of the sites failing - I'm talking about the vast majority. This includes the "big name" sites as well as the others.

I'm wondering whether it's just me, or is SB actually struggling to bookmark anything at the moment?

If somebody can post here, saying that they used Social Bot sometime in the last week, checked several of the actual sites where the bookmarks are supposedly being made, and their newly created bookmark was actually there, then that means that perhaps there is something that I am doing wrong.

I understand that "things change" and software such as this won't work all the time. But at the moment, for me, it hardly seems to be working at all.

It really seems to be a bit of a dud. But I actually find that hard to believe, because I don't believe Tim and Anthony would be promoting a dud product deliberately.

So... is anyone actually seeing the bookmarks created? On several sites?

Or am I missing something here? I'm quite prepared to accept that I am at fault or am not fully understanding things.

But first if someone can give me assurance that it is working for them then that would be great. And I mean working as in creating bookmarks on several sites.

I got a response from our guys using the software, and they have indeed verified links are working, although they do say it has "good days" and "bad days". And also a number of links are not working (presumably due to login issues that will be corrected with the next release).

One hidden tip they gave me was to register the usernames/passwords and not to try to use them for several days or up to a week. It seems they have had issues along these lines.
