Hope this is the right place in the forum to post this thread...


In the video that has the map of the linking structure where you have level one and level two Web 2.0 properties linking.

I understand how it is important to have original or fresh content on the money page and that content should remain there and not be used on the level one or level two layers of web 2.0 properties.

question: is it ok to use the same content used on first layer of web 2.0 properties on the second layer and also the third? Or should you use different content for each layer. So in other words should you use content A on all the first layer of web 2.0 properties and then content B on second layer and content C on the third layer.

Question: Also should all the hyper links be the keyword you are trying to rank for?

I also understand that it is important to ping the Web 2.0 sites when they have had new content added to them so you would do that when they are created. Is it important to keep adding content to these level 1, 2, and 3 Web 2.0 sites over time so that you can ping them all again?

I would not use the identical content on those network layers, but you could spin the content using a tool like this which would effectively make it largely unique.

Regarding hyperlinks, no you should never use the same ones 100% of the time. This would not be natural and the search engines would see that. Mix it up a bit and even occasionally have link text like "click here". That is what happens normally on the Internet and we are trying to emulate "normality"

Pinging is useful, but I suggest you only ever ping if the content has changed. In my opinion there is little value in pinging content that has not been changed.
