Automated to Semi-auto creation of Web 2.0 - What Is Your Experience?

I have used programs such as senuke to create web 2.0 accounts and properties. I have done a lot of testing with these properties and have not had much success getting them to rank very well.

My question is this - in you own opinion, is it better to use an automated program to create your properties OR to do everything manually?

Well I am a big fan of senuke, but I use this to help out on cutting down on some of the time to create accounts, etc. I still do stuff manually (well my outsourcers do).

It's not either or, for me it's both...
