    Facebook Pages Questions

    Hello,

I want to start getting into Facebook for my business, but I would like to keep my online business pursuits 100% separate from my personal profile. I don't want to broadcast information to my personal friends about every niche I test in.

I understand that when you use Facebook Groups, your group gets associated with your personal profile. However, based on my research, it seems that Facebook Pages are able to be completely separated from your personal profile.

I would like to create a Facebook page with a photo that represents my niche. I want the page to be 100% separate from my personal profile in that I don't want any notifications to appear in my profile feed when the Page is published, or when I post something to the page. I use a pseudo name in some niches so this is why it is important to keep business and personal entirely separate.

Is this possible with Facebook Pages? Do I need to change anything in the settings for the page to achieve this?

    Thanks,

    Dam

    Sorry Dan,

I was waiting for someone else to chime in, but seems like no one really knows. I do not use facebook enough to know whether this works. Generally my advice is to always use a new facebook profile if you truly want to separate personal from business.

    Regards

    Tim
