Question re hubpages for different niches

Hi guys, I apologise in advance if this seems like a stupid question...Having watched the 12 day series through again, I've reached the step where we create hubs and am just wondering why we create a new account/persona in hubpages for each niche, as opposed to using the same name across the board and perhaps getting more traffic internally from followers?

Hi Jodie J,

You'll often find it suggested to keep these things separated, not just in hubpages but in general and there are a few good reasons for that. For one thing, there could be a slight seo advantage to having a profile name that has the keyword in it and you obviously can't do that if you use only one account. Another reason it's a good idea is because building links is a grey hat technique and although Google has ok'd creating content in exchange for links... at any rate you won't want to participate in hubpages revenue share with the same adsense ID that you use on your sites. A third reason it's a good idea that if someone wanted to cause you some problems all they'd need is to know your hubpages screen name and then they'd all know all of the niches you were into.
