Help with email marketing

Hi guys!
Im getting a big list in the weight loss niche. I'm delivering a free newsletter with real premium content. How do I monetize this list?

A few more questions, I'm getting a approx 20% optin = 20 subscribers per day from 100 visits per day, is this acceptable? or should I try to get more people to opt in?

I would be starting by seeing what your competitors are doing for monetization, so niche research PLUS why not do a survey and ask your list what they need help with?

Google "Survey Monkey", it's a great online survey tool.

Your have the choice of selling your own products, affiliate products, using adsense, CPA offers.

Make sure to test your offers and use downsells, upsells and backend offers.

A 20% optin rate is quite good but can certainly be improved.

Tim and I have had optin rates up to 43%.

It's all about offering "what they want" so your niche research will help uncover this. Your sales copy and position of your free newsletter offer is also worth testing and improving.

Why stop at a newsletter? You can offer a free ebook, audio, video course etc etc.
