Question Can anyone help me choose an Auto-responder?

    Hi,

I need to choose an auto-responder and I'm having difficulty deciding which is the best for me?

I know Anthony and Tim use Aweber (at least that is the impression I get) and I'll be happy to do the same if it's the best for me.

I posted under "Other Web Traffic Tools" but I haven't gotten a response yet.

So, I am posting here hoping to get one. I really want to know more about them and which may be the best for me.

How many different blog sites can I use under one auto-responder account? Which auto-responder service has the best price for this?

Would I have to pay Aweber $19.95 for each blog site I have?

Would GetResponse, EmailAces (promoted as the best by kenc on Squidoo, - please read and let me know what you think) or Traffic Wave (promoted as the best by far by Dr. Bryan Stoker on YouTube - please watch and let me know what you think) be better? Which has the best service all around?

Any advice on this would be helpful, I want to start a service asap.

But, I want to get the best right away. My research says changing services after getting started is a big mess, something that you don't want to have to deal with.

So, I want to make the best decision the first time, please any help with be appreciated. Thanks.

    John

PS OH, can you please direct me to any video explaining best how to take full advantage of an auto-responder?

I'm no expert. I've only tried Imnica Mail. I won't post a link here because I'm not too happy with it!

Aweber and GetResponse seem to be the most common ones the "Guru" IMers use.

You don't have to pay "per blog". Generally you pay based on the total number of subscribers on all your lists.

My recommendation after trying Imnica Mail, which is a relatively new player... is to stick with the known providers! I guess they got big for a reason.

By the way, I'm not totally bagging Imnica Mail, the service is OK. It's just not everything I would like it to be, and I'm convinced that a significant proportion of my emails never get to the end user.

And remember... I'm no expert, but given you've not received another response I thought I would tell you what little I know!

    Hey,

Thanks for responding, any advice is helpful. Staying with the big ones because they must be doing something right is good.

I just don't see why YouTube or other reviews don't go more into detail on not only which tops the scale but also how to use all their functions.

I'm a newbie too and I would love to see some instructional videos going into enough detail on how to not only use but also on how to take complete advantage of an auto-responder.

I've been using Aweber and they have been pretty easy to use so far. You can also create your own templates for your opt in form such as using an image thats related to your theme etc as the background instead of the plane old generic ones that they offer.

    Hope this helps

The only one I have tried is aweber. I have had forms on two different sites under one account if that clears up that question. You just need to add a new form. Aweber has worked great for me.
