    Video Module Question

    Hello Everyone,

Forgive me if these is something that is obvious that I am missing. When I want to use TubeMogul the module suggests I get a new email address for each of the 20 accounts. Do you mean....?

    1 new address for blip.tv
1 new address for daily motion
    1 new address for ebaumsworld

    etc.

Also, tubemogul tries to scare me by saying something like.."if you are an affiliate marketer you will be banned." In my video I will be having a link displayed to a squeeze page. Is this acceptable?

    Thanks in advance.

    Albert

    Hi Albert,

You can use the same email address for all 20 services. It sounds like you might be ok with your video. They are really looking for unique content that actually helps people out, so if your entire video is just a pitch you could be in trouble. If this turns out to be the case, you can always manually upload the videos to the sites in question.

TubeMogul are getting a little silly in some ways I have to say with this type of stuff, but no doubt they are doing it because they have been hit with a ton of affiliate marketers upload crappy quality "add nothing for the user" style videos...

It's all in the video I would think (give the user something and all should be good).

    Cheers

Happy to help out, ask away.

You might also be interested in this cool new piece of software we sent an email out about.

VideoBot | Uploading your Videos to over 100 popular Video Publishing Sites just got a whole lot easier with VideoBot

I think it's pretty cool and work's real well.

** YES, THIS IS AN AFFILIATE LINK **

Watch the video and see if it's for you. Tube Mogul is still a viable solution but the reason I like this package is it submits to 100+ sites in one hit.

    Cheers

Based on your recommendation, I have bought Videobot through your affiliate link just a few days ago. I am not sure whether I am not geeky enough or what; but I have been having problems from the beginning...
    - almost all the 113 services needed to be registered manually. when i use the auto register only a handful was automatically registered....the rest I had to do one by one
    - I was able to register 50% of the 113 services listed. The others were not available. I am not sure when the last time the list was updated.
    - When I auto post my 1st video today, I only manage to get posted in 6 out of the 50% of 113 services. And the uploads were extremely slow as well (maybe it was my broadband connection)
    - I then tried manually submitting to some of these sites. Though successful in some, but most of the php motion sites return an error ..... Failure to find flength file. I followed the instruction on your video and use .mov as the save file. I do not understand what has gone wrong.

I could have gone to Incansoft to ask them but since I was on this forum I thought I ask you. Hope you do not mind. I have bought 2 programs so far on your recommendations (and using your links as well) - the GFX video writer and Videobot as I want to add video to my marketing arsenal. Not much complain so far on the GFX videowriter but I am having a tons of problems with the videobot. It is making me nervous about their other products which I find on their website as I am interested in some other as well (eg-SocialBot)

Any suggestions on what to do will be appreciated.

    Douglas

Firstly, don't be nervous, anything new will take you a bit of time to get up to speed with. And note there is a 60 day no questions asked refund on all Incansoft products bought via our affiliate link. Incansoft have a "no refund" policy.

That should give you a measure of confidence that we believe in these products and means it's really risk free for you.

Regarding the upload, the time taken will depend purely on the size of your video. The software has to upload a copy of your video to each site, so the larger the video, the longer it will take.

I checked with my outsourcer on his most recent experience with it and yes there are some broken sites. This is completely normal and will happen from time to time.

The reason why it happens is video sites go out of business, or change their logins, etc. when this happens videobot (or any other software) cannot submit to them.

Because of this, Incansoft build in an upgrade and release from time to time a new update which adds new video sites and/or fixes the login problems.

Any software submission has similar issues, so you need to make sure the people selling you the software have a process to update and give these to you, for free. Incansoft do that.

In regards to manual registration, we do not get anywhere near that number of failures. There are some but a large number do work for us, so I am not sure why you would be getting that problem. My outsourcer tells me around 50% had no problems, and he thinks about 30-40 sites had problems.

I would expect than Incansoft would fix this soon with a new release.

Regarding the submissions, .Mov is a common format, but you might want to try .AVI and see how you go with that, it might help your success rates.

    Regards

    Tim

    Tim and others.
Are you currently still using VideoBot? Do you like it? Does it do what it says it will do?
    Thanks,
    Gary
