    RSS feeds on Wordpress

Firstly I hope I have posted this in the right section.

I have a website on Wordpress using it as a stand alone site. To find out the RSS feed address for the site I entered the domain name followed by /feed....(a backslash and word feed)....into the web browser.

It came up with page not found. Don't I need an rss feed before I can use a feedburner plugin? Or does the feed burner plugin create the rss feed. Though this cannot be because when I went to feeburner.google.com it asks for an rss url address.

Have looked on Youtube for an answer but none the wiser

Can someone tell me how do I put an rss feed on to my site please.
    Thanks

Here's a site I just found today. Search Maybe this will work. I know Tim and Anthony also have a solution that comes with on of there products I believe. I haven't used it for a while so I would have to try and remember were it is at. If that site doesn't work, let me know and I'll find the other solution.

If you have a wordpress blog it should have a feed.

Rather than use "/feed" try "/feed/". It shouldn't make a difference but I know that on at least one of my sites it did

Oh - are you talking about wordpress.com? Perhaps that's different?

The easiest way to find good feeds is to do a Google about your site topic: ie:- Keyword RSS Feeds -

For example. I have a WP blog about Forex trading. to find a good RSS feed I Goggled,
    FOREX RSS FEEDS

Then look over the feeds and select one that has recent and constantly updated items.

One other thought. there are some pretty good plugins and widgets that handle the RSS problem.

    It should help.
