Linking Networks

I am just starting to use the New Web Traffic and Marketing Blueprint v2.0 system. In setting up my first website I am confused a bit with linking, especially the social bookmarking sites. In the startup ebook Tim says he goes out 4-5 levels from the money page. I guess it just doesn't seem right to bookmark a bookmark. Or do you use layers of authority sites with bookmarking sites at the last layer out.

I hope I'm saying this with clarity enough to make sense.

Hi Brent,

Bookmarking is only one small aspect of web 2.0. So when we say 4-5 levels we are not just talking about bookmarking, but a full range of sites including hubpages, squidoo, etc.

Given a choice I would recommend a site like this that bookmarks. In our experience bookmarking whilst still valid is not bringing the incredible results it used to bring in the past.

Thanks so much for the heads up there Tim. I will not rule out using some of the bookmarking sites but will focus more on the authority sites like you mentioned. And use lots of emails!
