Getting links indexed

I have been blog commenting to get some links to my site, but after 3 weeks only a few have linked. I have checked the blog comments and they are still in place. On investigation, I have read that Google will only index about 2% of these comments and the rest is up to you to get indexed. I understand that getting the links indexed without leaving a footprint is also a problem. Can anyone advise me of the best way to get them indexed bearing in mind that I have a good idea but am no expert with computers

Hiya John,

It's not really productive to keep checking links and spend time getting them indexed, especially if your talking about blog comments. Typically, to get something indexed though, you point a link at it from somewhere else. The site owner of course wants to have his page indexed so maybe he'll point some links at his page. Hopefully though, you added something of value to the site owners page otherwise your just spamming.
