Hi Felix,
There are a ton of ways to get indexed fast.
Here are a few.
1. Submit a sitemap to Google (if using a blog the Google XML Sitemaps plugin by Arne Brachhold is a good one, but there are many others).
2. Putting up a page of content and linking to your blog using a web 2.0 site like squidoo.com or hubpages.com
3. Using a service like 1waylinks discussed in this thread
This is only a few to get you started, there are many more.
Regards
Tim

Hiya Felix,
For me, the best thing for getting a new site indexed, is to make a decent length post in a non-spammy niche. Although I haven't confirmed this the tld you choose .com v. .info might also have some weight. To illustrate, I bought a .com, wrote a 762 word intro posted it on the site around 9:00 pm and when I woke up the next morning, it was indexed. Now a week later, the site has three posts plus a proper about page and google is showing 13 pages indexed (tag pages etc). All of my sites have been this way and I've got quite a few. The site isn't in a spammy niche though. If you're going after weight loss or penny stocks though...
And of course if you're in it for the long run, three years from now, it won't have mattered if your site indexed in 3 hours or 3 days.
I just helped get a new site indexed this week.. i'll link it to help them on their way
Site was made last friday
Franchise Consultants Australia
I essentially just dugg their site.. twittered the link and pinged the tweet as outlined in this thread
Site was indexed in under 3 days and client was expecting up to 2 months
Not as fast as c14h20o4 above but pretty good result for new site with no content of note
Hey there,
Obviously, I cannot guarantee this will work the same for you but... I have a Process to Launch a Site document -- just a little plan I've developed through trial and error that I follow for each new site, Squidoo lens and so on.
I just launched a new site at midnight (started adding content and then followed my Process to Launch a Site document). I only did the first six steps.
When I checked at noon it was indexed by Google. So within 12 hours from the time I started adding content and within maybe 9 hours of doing the 6 steps (I was working in a pretty slow relaxed manner) the site was indexed. Actually, I just bought the domain around 8:00 PM last night.
Anyway, for this new site all I did was:
1. Submitted the site to StumbleUpon
2. Added the site to Google Webmaster Tools account including submitting my sitemap (of 5 pages total including About and Privacy Policy).
3. Submitted sitemap to Yahoo Site Explorer
4. Submitted RSS feed to Feedage.com
5. Submitted RSS feed to goldenfeed.com
6. Submitted RSS feed to rss2.com
It is not always this way however. Squidoo Lens I have noticed seem to take more effort. For example, last week I launched a new Squidoo Lens. I find these SLs a quick & easy (read I am very minimally invested) way to test things and at the same time I am creating a good backlink source should I decide to do a site. Anyway... enough rambling...
For the squidoo lens I had to do all of this...
1. Submitted the site to StumbleUpon
2. Pinged lens using SquidUtils.com
3. Submitted RSS feed to Feedage.com
4. Submitted RSS feed to goldenfeed.com
5. Submitted RSS feed to rss2.com
6. Bookmarked at folkd.com
7. Bookmarked at bookmark4you.com
8. Bookmarked at buddymarks.com
9. Published a Word doc (created with OpenOffice Writer) at docstoc.com
10. Published a Powerpoint (created with OpenOffice Impress) at docstoc.com
btw - this was the exact same content as the Word doc but split into slides.
11. Bookmarked at MyLinkVault.com
12. Bookmarked at OYAX.com
13. Bookmarked at SiteJot.com
14. Bookmarked at kojaxx.com
It actually took 5 days for my lens to be indexed! But that is most likely because I spread those 14 steps out over 5 days because I was working on several other projects at the same time.
Magically, within 30 minutes of completing step 14 the lens was indexed.
Anyway, I hope this helps you.
Just remember I am not guaranteeing anything. Just sharing my very recent results of fast indexing.
I have found that putting up a Web 2.0 prop and linking to it. Then pinging the web 2.0 prop
There are many way to get the fast indexing in a search engine like the method link buildinf will do a great work for it it includes several methods like forum posting, blog posting, directory submission, article submission, linkwheel.
Hi Guy! you need 20 posts to put links in your sig. Thanks,
