Anchor text URL should it include / or not.

I have a website on which I have just started backlinking and have a question that I would like some help with.

If I enter the URL of my site into google it automatically reverts to http://www.mysite.net BUT doesn't show / on the end. If I do a search on google for my site and keyword it comes up as www.mysite.net/ on the search screen.

My question is which one of the urls would I use with my anchor text.

Actually, you should use your key words as your anchor text, not the URL. The anchor text is the portion of the address that shows on the screen as text...
In the URL reference portion of the link, I use the URL followed by the '/' (if that is how the address ends). I do not believe it really makes any difference - but I would pick one way and stick with it.

Thanks for your quick reply Mike, sorry thats what I meant what url I should use as part of my keyword
