Need advice on publishing content on my blog

I have a site which has a primary keyword that I am targeting as well as around 5 secondary keywords that I would also like to rank for.

My main keyword is 3rd on the 1st page of BING with 3,700,000 competing sites.
The main keyword is also 8th on the first page of yahoo with 1,740,000 competing sites
On Google my main keyword is nowhere to be seen.

What I would like to know is how often should I post content onto my wordpress blog, I have around 20 PLR articles which I have spun using software recommended by yourselves, basically I don't want these articles to rank but I would like the spiders to come to my site a few times a week to re-index.

so, how often should I post these articles on my site and also how would I get my whole site re-indexed by the search engines, especially google.

How often you post will not have a major effect of your ranking in Google, other than the fact that generally speaking Google like bigger sites rather than smaller ones.

I am not sure I understand the other part though, you have content you don't want to rank but do want re-indexed ?

Google never re-index a site in one sitting (unless it's a really small one). They find a page, visit that, index it, they may then follow a few links and index those pages and stop.

Personally I would be focusing on your backlinks as getting backlinks on other sites that google finds and follows to get to your site is a faster way to get indexed more often.

Although once you start getting some decent content, Google starts visiting a lot more often. For example Google visits this forum multiple times per day. You can see this by checking how quickly a new post gets indexed.
