Adsense on your wordpress sidebar not showing

Hi, can any one help. Putting adsense on your sidebar should be as simple as copying and pasting the code google give you into a sidebar widget and that's it, as far as I know. Simple. So I paste it into a widget text box and sure enough as I flick thru the posts and pages on my website there it is.

But, when I go to my domain root page, my home page, there is an empty space! But not always. Some themes will not display it at all and some will display on some of my sites but not others!?

I have googled it and found others complaining about the same problem, but no one seems to have a solution

Can anyone shed any light on this please.

Hi, got it! The difference between the posts and pages and the root domain page is that the root domain page has many articles. Each post has an adsense block, so as soon as the adsense blocks hit the limit because of the multiple posts, then the sidebar automatically switches off to stay within googles limit of 3 adsense blocks per web page.

Thanks for your help here, hope this helps others, there seem to be quite a few mystified people other in forums wondering what is going on with their sidebar adsense.
