    Adsense non-approval

    Hello,
I applied for adsense, by submitting my blog domain, and they have disapproved my application for the following reasons:
Your website must be your own top-level domain (www.example.com and not
    www.example.com/mysite).
    - You must provide accurate personal information with your application
that matches the information on your domain registration.
    - Your website must contain substantial, original content.
    - Your site must comply with Google AdSense program policies:
    https://www.google.com/adsense/policies" which include Google's webmaster
    quality guidelines:

    1. Top Level domain-Why? I thought you could apply via blogger
    2. Accurate personal information-I never submitted inaccurate information
    3. Original content-All my pages have content written by me, as i understand the market that i'm dealing in
    4. Adsense policies-they are a bunch of these, but my approach has been to write basic posts, and get organic traffic. I have backlinked 1 article from hubpages, which does not have duplicate content.

    Please give me your input.

    Regards,
    Adnan Khurshid

Are you sure they declined you for ALL those reasons. I know that other emails I have had from Google have been ambiguous about this sort of thing. Rather than telling you which ONE thing you have done wrong, they just send a generic email.

I can't answer your specific questions though sorry... I got approved with no problem

Although re question 1)... where you mention blogger. That would be example.blogspot.com, not blogspot.com/example ... so that would count as a top-level domain??

Brett, is it possible to revert to adsense-support@google.com, as none of this really makes any sense to me. Maybe they could shed some light on this? I'm not sure that they'd respond? And yes it is example.blogspot.com and not blogspot.com/example!!!! Why aren't they accepting blogger, when it is meant for that!!!!!????

If those who've had their sites rejected could give out the URL's perhaps some of the more experienced could explain why the rejection.

No advertising for this. . .

Adnan, I don't wish to be critical in an unpleasant way but I can see, why Google probably refused you.

First, change the template - Blogger has lots of more interesting ones than the one you are using. To be honest, when I hit the page it was an immediate turn-off, life- less. It's a difficult subject that you are dealing with and the plain black-and-white doesn't do it justice. Take a look at some other sites in this category.

I checked several other sites in the same category and NONE had advertising. I tend to think that Google U.S.A. doesn't have anyone advertising for this product and therefore can't approve you! It is a pretty technical site, with very few sites built around it and I couldn't even guess at the number of visitors you'd get. You are not actually selling anything!

The only suggestion I can make for getting revenue from this is to approach other companies and ask if they would like to place a paid ad. on the site. But change it up a bit before you do that.

It makes me wonder why you picked this category in the first place. There are millions of affiliate site where you could be making money.

BTW This is a very informative news site but that is about it.

I checked Google Awords Keyword tool for, polyester value chain, and got the following results:

    Broad match:

Polyester value chain - gave 36 searches world wide

    manufacturing value chain - 2,900

    pta polyester - 210

Exact match dropped the figures to :

Polyester value chain - gave 16 searches world wide

    manufacturing value chain - 110

    pta polyester - 46

This was a wold wide search and the words would have to appear in your article to be detected.

With those figures, I'm glad you're not paying monthly fees for a site!

To anyone reading this remember, Google cannot advertise on your site if no-one is buying advertising in your category. Also, even a category with very low readership will
not get advertisers. You could buy your way in but you'd just be wasting money.

    Hope this helped.

    Adnsense non-approval

Its quite interesting to note that google will never advertise at a site "first of its kind." Yeah the idea was to inform people and since I'm attached to this profession i, with the help of some publications, developed this original material. Interestingly without any SEO optimization techniques i have been able to increase traffic to an average of 10 visitors per day. True this has gone down as well, as i have not paid much attention to this blog after its disapproval, but i have had traffic as high as 25+ per day. So with no real techniques applied neither SEO optimzation, back linking, social media help, I was confident of taking this number easily into the 100's.

I guess i touch upon other subjects and see the results.
